Eliot’s Journey: Support For Cancer In Cats

It’s never easy to find out our furkids are sick. We are always here to help make difficult moments easier for pet parents. We know how scary it can be when your pet receives a serious diagnosis. Each pet parent we encounter becomes a part of our extended NHV family. When we say the words “please keep us updated on how your fur baby is doing” we really do mean it.

We’ll be there for you whether the outcome is not what you were hoping for, to help you through tough times and we will celebrate with you when everything goes right. We absolutely love receiving positive updates about cases that seemed like the prognosis could only be grave. This can especially be true for cases we see like tumors in cats. We received the best mews recently from Eliot’s meowmy, Tracy. Here’s what she had to say:

As Eliot wasn’t showing any signs of being ill, it is difficult to notice any benefits yet – and he has only been on it a couple of weeks. Hoping all the benefits are on the inside! I do think that he is eating a bit more. When I manage to see the vet, he may be able to see improvements. Eliot is 12, so he does like to sleep a fair bit, and that hasn’t changed. I guess as there is no change to him, and no further lumps, then he is doing fine, so will be keeping him on the supplements.

Tracy made the tough decision of having it removed to find out what it was.

Tracy first noticed a lump on Eliot’s arm just after Christmas, 2019. She watched and felt it for a few days, hoping that it would disappear, and when it didn’t, she took him to the vet. The vet didn’t think it would be cancer and gave Tracy the choice of doing nothing, but keeping an eye on it and going back if anything changed. The other option would be to remove it, get it analyzed, and see what it was. Eliot had no other symptoms and it didn’t seem to be affecting him at all. Tracy made the tough decision of having it removed to find out what it was.

So pleased I took that route as they found it was cancer. The vet thought he had managed to get all of it removed, but said there was still a possibility it could come back.

Eliot still seems to be unaffected by it all. Only really took a dislike to being kept in while the surgery wound healed. Tracy found us on Twitter.

I was aware of you before I had a need for you. You had helped a few people I followed and always came across as helpful but not trying to push your products on anyone.

Tracy bought the Pet Cancer Super Support Kit (Cancer Kit 3) as our pet experts recommended. The supplements Eliot has been taking each have their own unique cancer-fighting properties. Together, they make the perfect team to give the body the strength it needs and to help fight tumors in cats.

  • ESClear: The herbs in this blend can help to reduce tumor growth, help to purify the blood, and support the immune system. This can help to improve the quality of life, energy levels, and appetite.
  • Turmeric: It is a ‘super-food’. It has so many benefits. Studies have shown that it has success with its anticancer effects against several different types of cancer.
  • Milk Thistle: While Milk Thistle is mostly known for its liver support, it also is rich in antioxidants and studies have shown it can have excellent anti-cancer and anti-tumor benefits.

Eliot is now taking that twice a day – and so is his brother Zac, as they often eat from each other’s dishes – and hopefully, it will benefit Zac too (as preventive care, seeing Zac is not diagnosed with cancer). We’re so happy for Tracy and her furmily. Eliot is really lucky to have such an amazing meowmy!
