How Moose Went into Remission from Sarcoma

Inspiring Pet Tails 3 min read
A rabbit on a rug.

Even little rabbits can have big stories to tell. Moose definitely has a good one; she became a hero in her story about cancer in rabbits! First, we have to go back to the beginning to a time before Moose was a cancer-fighting brave girl, and her thoughts were only about when dinner time was and if she felt like he got enough cuddles that day.

Wait, What Are “Binkies”?

This Moose is a special little bun. Like other rabbits, all she wants from life is some tasty grub and love from his family. At nine years old, she could be considered a senior bun, but Julia (her fur-parent) has taken such good care of this big-eared cutie that she is still thriving into her old age with a zest for life!

She loves her hay, she binkies for her greens, and is so excited for her
vitamins that we give her as treats. She is very potty trained and still
goes to the bathroom normally. She could probably be mistaken for half her
age!

For those who may not know, binkies are an adorable little dance rabbits do only when they are happy. The fact that Moose shows her appreciation this way goes to show how well Julia cares for her!

Cancer in Rabbit & An Unexpected Diagnosis

Cancer in rabbits does not discriminate, and this, sadly, is true for Moose too. When they found bumps on Moose and took her to the vet, she had sarcoma – and only had six months to live.

The shock and sadness from that diagnosis must have been so intense that day. But Julia rallied and did everything in her power to help this little creature. As she treated Moose with her care team, she found NHV. That’s when we got to fall in love with Moose and join their efforts.

The shock and sadness from that diagnosis must have been so intense that day.

Remission is Possible

We started her on ES Clear (+ Natures Immuno, PetOmega, Hearty Heart, Yucca, and Milk Thistle) as soon as we could after the recommendation from the NHV team – 4 months later, the little bumps on her skin are either gone or almost unnoticeable, and our vet has said they believe she is in remission! We truly believe NHV’s products were a huge part in improving Moose’s health (in addition to lots of love). Thank you NHV!

Not all cancers will or can go into remission, but that does not mean we can’t try. Moose’s story is proof that a little hope can go a long way!

As a part of her care, we recommended ES Clear. This vet-approved herbal formula may help purify the blood and detoxify the vital organs, which is important for pets with cancer.

Meanwhile, Natures Immuno provides the healing benefits of wildcrafted mushrooms, which may have compounds beneficial in supporting cancer in rabbits.

Finally, we recommended several other additional supports for Moose for immune support, skin health, and discomfort support including PetOmega 3, Milk Thistle, Yucca, and Hearty Heart.

Unsure about how to start your pet’s cancer care with additional natural supports at home? It can feel overwhelming, but if you want personalized recommendations, our team is here for you! Our Pet Experts would be honored to help guide you through this difficult journey, just like for Moose.
