However, you can’t just give regular turmeric powder to your pets. The oral bioavailability of Turmeric can be a problem, meaning that it is not absorbed well into a pet’s body if given by mouth. If black pepper or liposomal substances such as coconut oil or ghee is mixed with turmeric, it is absorbed more rapidly throughout the body.
