It is absolutely heart-wrenching to find out your furry companion has cancer, and then to find out they only have a few months left to live is devastating. Cancer is becoming increasingly common in pets.

We talk to pet parents every day that have received this news from their vet. These parents aren’t ready to give up, they know there has to be something out there that will give their furry babies a fighting chance. That’s where we come in. It’s been 7 months since my cat Bert was diagnosed with leukemia-lymphoma. In September they estimated that on his prescribed steroid alone, he would only live 2 to 3 months more. I’m not good at taking no for an answer so I thoroughly researched the disease and various remedies. I came across a blog that mentioned NHV products. After pleasant and helpful customer service, and researching the recommended products’ ingredients I settled on the following regimen: ES CLEAR, MILK THISTLE, TURMERIC, TRIPSY, and Natures Immuno For Cats, along with his prescribed steroid. I can’t say for sure if it’s luck, fluke, or your products, but earlier this month Bert’s vet said his cancer was in remission! I can’t help but think his NHV regimen helped boost his immune system so much so as to keep the disease at bay. I don’t know what the future holds, but I can say that I am eternally grateful for the extra time with Bert, that the NHV products have given me.

Below is the complete account of Bert’s diagnosis and treatment in his mama Stephanie’s words. You can take some notes from this story and you might want to grab a tissue.

Background/Diagnosis:

Started not eating in late September 2017, and became lethargic. I brought him to my local vet, who noticed a mass on his kidney, he took an x-ray and referred me to a specialist. Between the time of that visit and the specialist appointment (scheduled about 4 days out), later that night he started vomiting bile, and then stopped drinking. I knew with the days he hadn’t been eating, plus now not drinking, I had to bring him into the emergency vet (actually the same office as the specialist). That night they took him and started giving him his food/liquids via tube. Throughout this, he also developed diarrhea. After X-rays, blood tests, and a biopsy, results we in that he had renal lymphoma and hypercalcemia due to his kidneys failing. I was given the choice of chemo (estimated to extend his life up to 18 months) or a steroid – [pharmaceutical name removed] (estimated to give him 2 to 3 months of additional life). I opted for the steroid, because he is a very upbeat, playful cat, and I didn’t want him to feel sick in his last days. After about 4 nights in the emergency room, Bert was stabilized enough so he could be taken off the feeding tube and go home.

At Home:

Bert was very happy to get home and to see his fuzz brother, he didn’t even cry on the car ride home. I started diving deep into researching the disease and what other remedies, particularly natural, were out there. I had a big spreadsheet running on everything I found. I stumbled across one blog that specifically mentioned NHV, so I continued onto the site. I compared a few of the lymphoma and cancer kits on my spreadsheet was surprised to see that these products contained most of the ingredients I researched. These products were the only solutions that included all of the key ingredients into one easy-to-use regimen. Since NHV offers a few options, I e-mailed to make sure I was getting the right kit. Very quickly, an individual wrote back and gave me thorough feedback on a suggested kit. I believe that day I ordered the suggested kit, and then some.

Regimen:

I measure and mix the NHV products into one dropper for easy and quick administering. I literally squirt his dose right into his soft food, and he is none the wiser. (Note: I did take him off any fish-related favored foods/snacks, as I did read fish is high in phosphorus, which is not good for kidneys).

Today:

Bert is now past his 7 months since his diagnosis!

Because I am very curious, I took him back to the vet at his 6-month mark to get new blood work done. With an ultrasound, the vet stated that his kidneys are all back to normal size, and the blood work showed his kidney values were good, any early issue indications are clear, no kidney dysfunction, and no imminent lymphoma signs. Bert is now past his 7 months since his diagnosis! Bert eats, plays, and goes potty like a healthy normal boy! Even wrestling with his brother on a regular basis. I have to believe the NHV products, our love, and vigilant care are to be credited for his great quality of life. As mentioned, I don’t know what the future holds, but I can say that I am eternally grateful for the extra time with Bert, that the NHV products have given me.”
