skin & infection support
Most cats love to groom themselves, but what happens when the behavior becomes a cause for concern? Excessive licking and itching can cause red, irritated hotspots and can make your pet very uncomfortable. Sometimes this can cause bald spots and patches of inflamed skin.
This is Sonnie – he was licking, chewing, and pulling fur off to the point where he had tufts disappearing out of his belly. His friends in Canada thoughtfully gifted him and his fur-sister Sheba who had kidney disease, a few NHV supplements.
Ideally for a situation like Sonnie’s, we would recommend a regimen of the oral blend NHV Stimmune for helping with allergic skin reactions and the natural anti-bacterial ointment for cats and dogs NHV All Clear Ointment. Although Sonnie started with the All Clear Ointment alone, it didn’t take long for him to experience the soothing benefits of this natural topical relief.
He is still biting and scratching but the skin itself is completely clean. He went through a bad patch and I almost gave up, but still used this cream, and voila it is cleared up nicely, and the bald areas are mostly gone.
In some cases, pulling off fur occurs due to medical factors, such as allergies, skin infections, or parasite infestation. Your cat could be experiencing an itchy or irritating feeling in his skin, causing him to lick, chew and yank out the hair in the area in an attempt to alleviate the itch. In other cases, it can be attributed to psychological stress. Just like us hoomans who experience eczema or hives, along with our own set of day-to-day stressors… just imagine how frustrating that may be for small felines!
Before and After All Clear Ointment
Sonnie has regained much of that beautiful black fur on his belly.
All Clear Ointment contains a proprietary blend of herbs that are very gentle and soothing. It can be especially useful for dealing with a variety of skin conditions such as cat dermatitis, skin diseases, bacterial, fungal, parasitic, and viral skin conditions.
Allergens, fleas, ticks, wounds, and scratches may be the cause of these common skin issues. We were absolutely overjoyed that much of the redness and inflammation has cleared up!
So what’s in it?
Echinacea Angustifolia – An immunostimulant, anti-inflammatory, and antibacterial agent.
Marigold – An anti-inflammatory that cleans and heals the skin.
Goldenseal Root – An herb that soothes the skin and reduces inflammation.
Together, these all-natural herbs help with dry scaly patches, may help with redness and inflammation of the skin tissue, ringworm lesions, dry itchy skin, and licking and chewing caused by skin irritants. We are absolutely overjoyed that once again, our pet parent community came together to help a fellow feline!

Heartworms are spread to pets through the bites of mosquitos. Once passed to a pet, the heartworm larva begins to grow and mature in the bloodstream of the pet. While pharmaceutical treatment for this parasite is necessary, the treatment can also put quite a bit of stress on the body. Hearty-Heart will help to support your pet's heart and circulatory system, while Inulin-PK will help to repair any damage caused by the parasites.
