Ladies and gentlemen, here is the face of the handsome and famous Mr. Belvedere. Mr. Belvedere the tomcat has quite an amazing story. As many have already seen, his story was also shared on The Dodo. He was on the streets for most of his life and many tried to rescue him with no success, but finally, Mr. B gave in and let some amazing humans rescue him. He had severe mange and ear mites, and after a visit to the vet they also found out that he has FIV. Lindsay, his rescuer, knew that he had some fight in him still and she did not give up on him. She began treatment to help him feel better.
Mr. B was pretty street-savvy still and was reluctant to fully trust his humans, so his rescuer started slow and would pet him with a wooden spoon, which was also a neat trick that she used to administer the medication on his ears (what a little rascal that he was, he loved the spoon!) Eventually, slowly but surely, he was starting to enjoy this treatment and new way of life with cuddles and pets. That’s when Mr. B’s life changed forever because Lindsay knew this special guy was going to be happy living inside with these luxuries for the rest of his life.
Eventually, everything fell into place for this little creature and Lindsay found his fur-ever home with some amazing humans who automatically fell in love with him. Everything else is history. This little man has gone through so much, but he is now thriving in his fur-ever home and his family says he is such a happy guy who loves to play! He even sings to them with many sounds.
