A Global Company with a Multicultural Team

For us at NHV, being a truly international company comes from within, starting with our multicultural team of humans. We usually feature our office pups, and let’s face it, we can’t compete with their adorableness. But today, we’ll talk a little bit about our diverse team of pet experts from all over the globe, of all ages, different backgrounds, and part of the LGBTQ+ community. And how we all came together to help furmilies like yours!

My Personal Experience as an International NHV Team Member

Hi there, my name is Julia Carneiro, a marketing and communications specialist from Brazil. In 2019 I left a role of prestige in my home country to start over in Canada. I moved in search of a better work-life balance. And for me, that meant doing something that would make me proud every day.

Pulling from these personal experiences, we try our best to help sick pets from all over the globe feel better with natural support.

As a young reporter, I had a couple of opportunities to write about animal health and wellbeing. A subject I have always been passionate about. Needless to say, I have been a pet parent my whole life. I always find a way to surround myself with cats, dogs, and sometimes even tarantulas and opossums. So when I saw the opportunity to help animals from all over the world, I jumped right in.

But moving to a different country and entering a new culture comes with many challenges. So it meant a lot to me to be part of a multicultural team and know that my coworkers at NHV truly understand what I was going through. Every day we speak to customers from around the globe, and no matter what their country of origin, religion, or sexual orientation, the one thing that brings us together is the love and care we share for our furry friends.

A Truly International Company and Multicultural Team

As a pet parent myself, when I still lived in South America, I often struggled to find local natural products that could help my allergy-prone Jack Russel Terrier, Flik. So I would gladly pay international shipping for North American products that could offer some relief to his constant itching. And I believe I can speak for the rest of the office when I say that we all truly understand the need to go above and beyond to give our little ones the best life.

Pulling from these personal experiences, we try our best to help sick pets from Australia, Japan, Singapore, Saudi Arabia, South Korea, Europe, and everywhere in between feel better with natural support. Through our international shipping options and our distribution partners on the ground, we are able to reach so many of our customers and get them the supplements they need. Know someone who might want to be a local distributor at an international location? Let us know – we love it when you help us spread the word!

So if English isn’t your first language, and you’re not sure whether you should reach out to us, please know that we also come from different backgrounds. Are you ready to order from one of our international resellers but want a personalized recommendation? Please know that our multicultural team of pet experts is here for you. Lastly, we would love to answer any questions about international shipping or local resellers. So please click below to start a chat with us. We look forward to hearing from you!

Julia lived her entire life surrounded by animals of all sizes and types in Brazil. As a result of losing her Dobermann to liver issues, she used her writing skills and journalism background to help raise awareness about breed genetic dispositions to health concerns and proactive care. She is the proud mom of a Jack Russell Terrier, Flik, and two cats, Nina and Frida.
