Stray Liotta, the famous kitty from Twitter, has been using NHV products to help him cope with FIV. When he was first found, this poor little guy had infections on his cheeks that showed his raw skin, with missing patches of fur. After using the ointment, Stray’s cheeks are all patched up and fuzzy, as they should be. His rescue dad is also loving it and as he says in his own words, “he now has the widest head I’ve ever seen on a cat” and that is what we love to hear!
Here are some pictures of Stray when he was first found.
For Stray Liotta the cat, the bacterial infection was on both sides of his head.
“They start to heal and look good. Then he scratches at them and it gets nasty. Losing fur in those spots. The vet had said again nothing they can do. So I gave him warm cloth baths every night then applied some peroxide. This is something else I’m addressing with the specialist on Monday. But if you have something I’ll get it right now.” – @StrayLiotta via Twitter
We suggested All Clear Ointment, a bacterial infection-fighting ointment, for Stray Liotta the cat. This 100% natural ointment also helps with skin conditions and promotes hair growth.
It turned out later that it was indeed an ‘out of control bacterial infection’, caused by ear mites. They were on his face and spread throughout his body.
Stray Liotta was also taking NHV Felimm, which is an oral blend that helps cover all bases as far as infections are concerned – it helps fight viral, fungal, and bacterial infections in felines. Stray was taking it for his FeLV and FIV. Together the two seemed to work wonders for this little monkey.
His cheeks are all healed up! Just needs fur now. He has some stubble but he’s very uneven.
We are so happy that this boy is feeling better and living a wonderful new life with all his furry buddies! Follow him here for a daily dose of this cutie pie @twitter.com/StrayLiotta
NHV All Clear Ointment contains anti-inflammatory, anti-bacterial, and healing herbs in natural olive oil, beeswax, and candelilla wax base. This allows the ointment to stay where it needs to be and work at healing the skin. It helps heal the skin and clear infections. Because it is 100% natural, there is no concern if your pet is able to lick the ointment. It makes an excellent remedy for bacterial infections in cats!
If your family feline has a bacterial infection, or if you need assistance choosing the right supplements, please contact one of our NHV Pet Experts.

NHV All Clear Ointment for dogs is vet-formulated to soothe dry, swollen, flaky, red, or greasy skin. It is also designed to help dogs with bacterial or fungal infections and skin disorders such as hotspots.
Our supplements are all made with organically grown or ethically harvested (or ethically sourced) herbs. Herbs are from North America and Europe mainly, with a few from India.
The herbs included in this ointment are Echinacea Angustifolia, Marigold, and Goldenseal. They work together to help support your furkid. Goldenseal can help fight pathogens (a type of germ) and bacterial and fungal skin infections. It also serves as an astringent and contact
disinfectant to help relieve swollen skin.
Marigold, in addition, is an anti-inflammatory herb with antifungal, antibacterial, antiseptic, analgesic, vulnerary, astringent and antimicrobial properties. The many compounds in this herb help eliminate bacteria and fungus in the wound and may help speed cell healing and reproduction. It may also be helpful against ringworm.
Last but not least, Echinacea Angustifolia is commonly used for infections. Its powerful anti-inflammatory and antimicrobial properties help with skin disorders and may help heal skin abrasions and viral infections of the skin tissue.
All Clear Ointment for Dogs is best applied following thorough cleaning and drying of the affected area. Gently apply the ointment to the wound or scab 3-4 times daily. If your pup has long hair, it may be necessary to trim or shave it to ensure penetration of the ointment.
At NHV, our team of devoted Pet Experts is always here to support you. Please don't hesitate to reach out with any questions or concerns.

Your dog, cat, or other pet is bound to experience wounds, cuts, or scrapes in their lives. As a pet parent, it is important to keep your pet’s wounds as clean as possible to help speed and prevent infection. Use the NHV First Aid Spray plus NHV All Clear Ointment as a natural and holistic way to help heal your pet’s wounds or skin infections quickly.
Use the NHV First Aid Spray for dogs or for cats as a natural antiseptic for dogs and cats first. Then gently apply the NHV All Clear Ointment to soothe inflamed skin for dogs or for cats, and eliminate any bacterial and fungal infections from your pet’s wounds.
Keep your cat, dog, or other pet warm and dry as their wounds begin to heal. Cold weather may make wounds weaker and result in longer healing times for your pet.
Some conditions, like anemia and malnutrition may cause problems in healing. See NHV’s anemia kit if your pet suffers from anemia.
For serious trauma and open wounds that require medical attention, please see your veterinarian immediately, so they may begin to treat and stabilize your cat, dog, or other pet. After any serious trauma, your pet may still be in a state of shock. You may want to consider adding NHV Matricalm for cats to their daily healing routine to help calm and soothe their nerves or Lesstress for dogs.
