Batch Consistency In NHV Herbal Supplements

NHV Behind The Scenes 3 min read

Out of all the herbal supplements we offer at NHV Natural Pet Products, we have one ingredient as the mainstay in every single bottle. What is that? Quality!

NHV wants to ensure that your beloved furmily is getting the highest quality product available. How do we do this? Well, we take many steps in order to do this, and here is a brief breakdown of how we put your pet’s health first and foremost.

All-Natural Herbal Supplements

All of our herbal supplements are natural, herbal remedies and we do not use any artificial flavors, colors, or preservatives. This means that you are getting a product that is pure and free of toxins and additives. This also plays a part in the flavor, color, and viscosity of the supplements varying from batch to batch. The time of year, weather, and the area where the harvested herbs are can affect the above properties of the herbs.

The flavor, color, and viscosity of the supplements may vary from batch to batch.

This will most often come up if an NHV furmily member calls to say their product has a darker, lighter color, or even “milky” look. This is 100% normal and indicative of a very pure product.

At times, there may be some sediment within the product. Although our herbal regimen is microfiltered to avoid this, it is indicative of a very pure and strong herb. This is nontoxic and 100% safe to use. Just shake the product well and dose as usual. Your pet is getting the highest quality product possible!

We recommend stopping the use of any NHV supplements one week prior to surgery and restarting them one week after surgery. The supplements should have no negative effect, however, we never know what the vet is going to do or prescribe, so just for extra precaution, it is best to stop temporarily.

Testing Our Ingredients and Our Herbal Supplements

All of our herbs are tested for identity, strength, and composition as well as any compounds (toxins, metals, etc) that may taint the product in its entirety. All of our ingredients are sourced from North America, Europe, or India and every single ingredient is tested before it reaches the facility.

Once they reach the facility, the ingredients are tested in-house again. After the products are made, they are sent for 3rd party testing for the final stamp of approval. Your pet is not getting a supplement from NHV that hasn’t been through all of the stringent testing processes and protocols. We put quality before quantity at every turn.
