Introduction to our herbal supplements for joint health, by Curious Cat CaramelInspiring Pet Tails 3 min read
Curious Caramel tries NHV supplements for the first time!
When Caramel isn’t educating his followers about all things cat nutrition – ie. the benefits of taurine, preventing common feline diseases, pet safe floor cleaners, favourite toys and treats, etc- he is busy living out his best days. This means running from one end of the house to the other, playing, purring, spontaneously jumping into nowhere, and finding those cozy new hiding spots. All those things require lots of energy, so sometimes a little bit of extra support is needed for all that excitement!
It is true, that NHV supplements can be helpful for more severe health problems, such as kidney failure, cancer, and heart disease, but our supplements are often given for maintenance of overall health and well-being. And most importantly for proactive pet parenting!
We are so pleased to welcome a new member to our NHV family – Curious Caramel.
Ooh, there she is. My human! I rest my paws on her lap. We have our regular morning and evening routine. She puts these drops in with the rest of my food. At first I wasn’t sure what those drops were, but they taste yummy and my mommy says that they are helping me.
Sometime ago, I had a little health scare. Did X-rays and found out that I have congenital underdeveloped joints on both hind legs. I’m not in pain or whatsoever. Nevertheless, the vet prescribed Glucosamine supplements as a preventive measure. Because there has been conflicting research findings on Glucosamine, my humans decided to look for alternatives. We first came to know about NHV Supplements from our friends, casper_thenotsofriendly_cat posts.
Bone broth is a great, natural source of glucosamine-chondroitin, which helps keep cartilage and joints healthy. Old Timer, Turmeric, and Yucca were recommended for me, as they contain powerful anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties. The herbs are highly nutritive and support the liver and cardiovascular system- making them a great choice for overall health and vitality. My senior friends with arthritis (such as Peanut), use them for prevention and maintenance of joint health, and to help bring the pain down.
I am a great hunter…. of bubbles. But every time I get excited, they pop 🙁
