How A Cat Parent Can Manage Multiple Cats With Health Issues

how a cat parent can manage multiple cats with health issues

When Kim reached out to us about her fur family and their cat health needs, we were happy to help. Kim is the pawrent of four gorgeous kitties and each one has their own unique needs and health issues. Supporting just one cat with health issues can be stressful, but this supermom and her superfamily have been able to manage multiple cats with health issues. Harley and Boo came into Kim’s life when her family’s hearts were broken after the loss of three of their fur family in 2016 and 2017. Harley and Boo made the family complete again and their unique personalities make up for any cat health issues they are pushing through.

Supporting just one cat with health issues can be stressful, but this supermom and her superfamily have been able to manage multiple cats with health issues.

Meet The Kitties

Boo’s real name is actually ‘Chill,’ but nobody ever calls him that. At 3.5 years old, he is their youngest and is a gorgeous longhair orange fuzzball with Maine Coon traits. He is the only boy of the gang and while he loves being near everyone, just grudgingly tolerates all the hugs and kisses showered upon him. Boo has hip dysplasia, but his supplements of Turmeric and Petomega 3 keep him happy and able to keep up with the rest of his gang.

Harley is 4.5 years old and is a long-haired diluted tortoiseshell. She had a rough beginning but was lucky to find her way into this loving family at the age of one. Harley is a complicated lady with a laundry list of allergies that keeps Kim busy. So far, she is allergic to peas, potatoes, soy, eggs, duck, pork, dandelions, grasses, and even people dander. Stimmune and ES-Clear have been helping her when her skin gets itchy and bitey.

“When we first adopted her, the shelter told us, she was a ‘he.’ From the moment my husband held her, she purred and purred, and we knew she was coming home, with us. She has continued to purr and purr throughout the many years.”

Curiosity (aka Curi) is a shorthair brown tabby and is the matriarch of the family at the grand age of 17. Curi was diagnosed with arthritis and was walking very stiff-legged until Kim added Turmeric and Petomega 3 to her diet. That has allowed her to keep up with the younger cats in her family. Kim uses Milk Thistle, Tripsy and Stimmune, to help with her other ailments.

Mai Mai

Shimai (Mai Mai) is 10 years old and has been part of the family since she was just 3 months old. She is a shorthair calico with all the attitude and personality that goes with that. She loves to show off her ability to understand commands like ‘sit,’ and ‘up.’

In August of 2019, Shimai was given two months to live due to a cancer diagnosis. Today, she is still part of the family and valiantly fighting her illness. Kim feels the supplements she has been using from the NHV Cancer Fighter Pack has been a game-changer in helping her maintain a good quality of life.

Supplements For Mai Mai & The Gang
