Medicinal Mushrooms to Help Seven Fight Cancer

Medicinal mushrooms are mushrooms that are used as medicine. They have been used to treat infections for hundreds of years, mostly in Asia. Today, medicinal mushrooms are also used to treat lung diseases and cancer. They are completely safe for pets on their own, or as an adjunct with chemotherapy.

While there are over 100 types of mushrooms used to treat cancer, our medicinal mushroom for dogs with cancer blend Natures Immuno contains the most researched and extensively studied ones – turkey tail, cordyceps, reishi, shiitake, and Agaricus. They provide anti-tumor support and have benefits for cardiovascular, liver, kidney, diabetic and endocrine health. All to help strengthen the immune system and keep the body healthy to help fight cancer.

seven

Seven’s Mom first came to us in August. Vicky had opted to treat Seven Biscuit’s cancer naturally. Regardless of surgery, radiation, or chemotherapy, we knew we needed to help this little guy. His mom tracks his daily adventures through his Instagram account, where we have all gotten to follow and be a part of Seven’s fight using medicinal mushrooms for dogs with cancer. Shortly after he started the supplements in September 2018, we received this excellent update on Seven’s condition:

For cancer: My dog has a tumor on his heart that is starting to crowd his lungs, and they say it’s inoperable because it’s wrapped around the heart structure. I could not afford any conventional treatment to shrink the tumor, so I looked around for supplements that might slow the growth. I started out trying Nature’s Immuno for dogs and didn’t notice a difference until I ran out. Then I noticed him coughing and hacking more. I ordered more Nature’s Immuno and added Milk Thistle and noticed a definite improvement in his coughing. I have no idea whether they are doing anything for the size of the tumor, but he’s hardly coughed at all since starting back on these products. They really seem to be helping his quality of life.
I’m also very pleased with how fast they ship!

Seven eventually added in some NHV anti-inflammatories like Turmeric and Yucca, to help with limping and discomfort relief. Though there are ups and downs with a cancer diagnosis, these two have forged on like champions and made the most of the days in between. Most recently, he was found playing in the snow, so we are thrilled this little guy has found some relief. We wish him and Vicky many more happy and healthy days together.
