Halloween treats for cats & dogs - How to make pumpkin spice cookies for pets!
Here’s how to make these baked pumpkin spice treats for your pets:
Ingredients:
1 ½ cups fresh pureed pumpkin
1 teaspoon of coconut oil
1 cup of flour (can use white flour, whole wheat flour, rice flour, potato flour…..any flour)
1 teaspoon cinnamon (optional)
½ cup rolled oats (can avoid if baking for cats)
1 egg
(1-2 tsps of tuna water if baking for cats)
Additional flour if needed for consistency
Recipe:
- Carve down the back of the pumpkin to make access easier
- Cook the pumpkin with a teaspoon of coconut oil
- Blend the cooked pumpkin in a food processor to make a smooth paste – 1 1/2 cups
- Add 1/2 cup Rolled Oats and 1 tsp. Cinnamon (optional)
NOTE – Can skip oats if baking for cats Add 1 tsp of Tuna Juice instead - Mix well, then add one egg
- Slowly add 1 cup of flour while mixing
- Cover and refrigerate for 1 hour
- Place 1 tablespoon lumps on a non-stick baking sheet
- Bake at 350°F for 12-15 minutes and enjoy!

How to Administer
Shake well before use. The easiest method is to use the dropper provide and places the drops into your pet’s food or favorite treat. You can also use the dropper and squirt directly into the pet’s mouth.Some pets can be finicky, if this occurs consider hiding the drops in foods most pet’s love such as fish, chicken or yogurt or a favorite treat. If your pet only eats dry food then soak a few kibbles at feeding time.
