Leukemia in dogs – what is it? This type of cancer originates in the bone marrow, the factory responsible for producing blood cells. Mikki’s Experience Dealing with Leukemia in Dogs
Spirit’s story began when she was adopted by Mikki in 2022. At the time of adoption, Spirit Moon had been through a lot.
She looked badly neglected, underweight, and thyroid hair loss patches throughout her body…We immediately drove to the vet after the adoption,
On this poor girl’s first vet visit, she was diagnosed with pneumonia, low thyroid levels, and B-cell lymphocyte leukemia.
They ran a cytometry panel on her and diagnosed her with B-cell lymphocyte leukemia. Almost immediately, I was told that Leukemia WAS NOT CURABLE and so a referral would be put into the VCA and most likely chemotherapy would begin right afterward; ongoing for once a week. It wouldn’t cure it, but it would give her quality of life to keep her longer.
Mikki was devastated to hear this news. But she didn’t give up on her precious darling. She refused to! All she wanted was for Spirit to feel better and live the life she deserved.
I explained that since leukemia was a blood/immune disease/illness/deficiency, I would begin by building up her immune system and treat her as a whole; balancing her system (mind body spirit) and helping her return to energetic harmony. How to Administer
Shake well before use. The easiest method is to use the dropper provided and place the drops into your pet’s food or favorite treat. You can also use the dropper and squirt directly into the pet’s mouth. Some pets can be finicky, if this occurs consider hiding the drops in foods most pet’s love such as fish, chicken or yogurt or a favorite treat. If your pet only eats dry food then soak a few kibbles at feeding time.For Best Results
