Meet Dai Tau Jai – “Big Head Boy” in Cantonese
Dai Tau Jai is a youthful-looking chi chi who happens to be 15 but doesn’t look a day over 7! His journey with natural herbal supplements started due to abnormal liver enzyme numbers (high ALT) and intervertebral disk disease.
Dai Tau Jai’s furmama Julie reached out to NHV in 2021 about her sweet pup’s liver and spinal issues through our furriend @wolfgang2242. We are so pleased that she was willing to put her faith in us! Being part of an international furmily has its pros and cons. Dai Tau Jai had all the support and love he needed from his granpawrent in Hong Kong, but he also missed his furmom that lived in Australia.
The Covid-19 pandemic separated Julie from her daughter for three years. And we were so touched when she reached out for our help with the family reunion!
We may relocate him from HK to Australia for reunion with my daughter who is Dai Tau Jai s real owner that has been separated for three years due to Covid 19. Considering he is going to 15 this year which is a hard decision to make as his condition may vary week by week. Flying with a pet can be really stressful for the human and furkiddo. Depending on the flight company and size of your pet, they may not be allowed in the main cabin. Not having your eyes on your little one throughout the trip can be scary. To make things even more nerve-racking, Dai Tau Jai’s destination demands a 10-day dog quarantine for any pups flying in.
