How Flower the Dog Overcame a UTI

Inspiring Pet Tails 2 min read
Two pictures of the same black dog. In the right one she is covered in snow, and on the left one it is summer and there is no snow.

This floofy pup is Lotus Flower, or Flower for short. Isn’t she adorable? We think this name fits her very well because the lotus flower symbolizes strength and resilience, and this special pup showed a lot of strength when she battled and overcame a troublesome Urinary Tract Infection (UTI).

Because UTIs in dogs can make bathroom visits more difficult and even painful, Flower’s loving fur mama had to give her extra care to help her find relief.

How UTIs in Dogs Affect Their Quality of Life

UTIs in dogs can interfere with normal urinary function and may even become painful for them. The source of this infection can vary. Sometimes the infections are related to genetic predispositions, or they may be caused by bladder stones.

Dogs with UTIs may experience a range of symptoms. Your pup may whimper or whine when trying to pee as there can be pain, there may be blood in the urine, they may frequently lick themselves, or their urine may have a strong odor.

When you’re a dog, running around and marking your scent is one of life’s great pleasures, so having troubles in this department simply won’t do!

Enter Tripsy: A Support for Pets with UTIs

Like many pet parents, Flower’s fur mama wanted to try a natural supplement for her precious pup. That’s why she decided to try NHV Tripsy. In addition to your vet’s recommendations, Tripsy may help alleviate UTIs in dogs.

NHV Tripsy is a formulation of 7 pet-safe herbs that may encourage overall bladder health in pets with UTIs. Each ingredient was chosen to target a different area of urinary health. For example, marshmallow root may sooth , while wild hydrangea may reduce discomfort and swelling.

How did their new UTI regimen including NHV Tripsy go? Read Flower’s fur parent’s experience:

It’s more then a year we are using this product for our dog, Lotus Flower. She is 12 years Chow. She likes to take her [supplement] with buttermilk. She doesn’t have since then any urinary infection. I highly recommend this product

Now that her pesky UTI isn’t bothering her any longer, Flower can go back to enjoying the good things in life, like romping in the snow, loving her mama, and being a fun lovable cutie.

Supporting UTI in Dogs

While dealing with UTIs isn’t the most glamorous part of pet ownership, our dogs rely on us to step up and help them whenever they have health issues like these. That’s exactly what Flower’s fur mom did with her attentiveness and diligence towards Flower’s health.

It’s so heartwarming to learn that Lotus Flower has been thriving – and that her UTI hasn’t reoccurred since starting Tripsy! We believe that by staying proactive, Flower may continue to thrive and enjoy her days without painful bathroom trips. Here’s to their continued health and happiness!
