It is heartbreaking when your pet is diagnosed with cancer. As a pet parent, we don’t want our furry family members to feel sick during their last days. In this article, we will share three simple lessons that we can learn from caring for a cat with cancer through Teagan’s story.
This is Teagan, who was diagnosed with lymphoma and given a day to live. His mom thought it was the end of the road for her dear senior cat but she felt it wasn’t yet time to give up. She reached out to us to ask if we had anything to help keep Teagan comfortable in the days ahead, and we were more than happy to explain the holistic options available.
We know that the situation of cats with cancer is not always easy to understand, or to talk about – but here at NHV, our Pet Experts try to shine a light on all possible steps available for pet parents when they receive such a diagnosis. This is a before and after of my kitty Teagan. In these times, we can learn powerful life lessons and become closer to our own pet’s needs, thereby strengthening the animal-to-human connection. We admire Teagan and his loving momma for taking his holistic cancer journey, one paw step at a time.
