Rescuing Produce in 2025
Our mission to help pets live naturally means we care deeply about the planet they play on. One way we’re giving back is by fighting food waste. Instead of letting perfectly good produce go to waste, we’re transforming it into healthy, tasty treats for your fur kiddos.
We’ve already saved tons of fresh ingredients this way. In just one trip alone, we rescued 719 pounds of pumpkin for our NHV Pumpkin Treats! It’s all part of our goal to keep pets healthy and the Earth a little greener.

One of the biggest highlights of 2025 was becoming CFIA-certified.

The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) has some of the strictest safety and quality standards in the world. For us, this certification is more than just a something to check off a list. This certification represents our promise to you – that our treats are as safe and pure as they are delicious.
This milestone also means some exciting news for your treat jar. Our team worked incredibly hard to make this happen, and we’re so happy to finally share these wholesome favorites with more of our NHV family.
Health Canada Approves Four NHV Supplements
This year, not one but four fan-favorite supplements were approved by Health Canada. Like the CFIA, Health Canada ensures that pet supplements meet high standards of safety. Once approved, they are called “Veterinary Health Products” – giving pet parents an extra touch of assurance.

We shared many inspiring ‘Pet Tails‘ this year on our social media pages, but this recent one from a pet shelter exemplifies how kindhearted the NHV community is.
This inspiring story comes from Jessica, who operates a self-run shelter for cats in Florida. Pictured here is Nori. She was found on the side of the road all by herself, and quite sick. When Jessica took her in, it was revealed that she had FeLV – Feline Leukemia Virus. Not only that, she was one of twelve at the shelter to have this incurable condition.
Jessica took action by starting her kitties on NHV Felimm. While FeLV has no cure, Felimm may help support kitties with their symptoms and encourage a healthy response to the virus. Jessica shares that her NHV supplement journey is a big success at her shelter!

Cold Weather Cat and Dog Joint Supplements and Pawcare
When the weather changes, it isn't just us that notices! Our pets feel it too!
