Have you ever thought of living life out on the open road? For one dog dad and his bulldog Disco, this was a reality. More and more people are gravitating towards this ‘not so conventional’ lifestyle for a new sense of adventure and independence! Your pet gets endless smells, sights, and sounds – and you get to experience the magic of living with your best friend 24/7.
We followed the stories of Chrome and Disco on YouTube and we would get really excited to see them around our hometown, Vancouver, BC. Disco had a few breed-specific issues and some that naturally arise as our beloved ones approach their golden years. So we hopped on board to help and sent some goodies over to the lovable duo.
Disco is getting older in age, has lost his eyesight over the past few years because of dry eye. He is getting a ridiculous amount of eye drops on a daily basis to keep them as moist as I can. With age, he’s been getting sores and stuffs on his feet, and the occasional skin irritation now and then. And I definitely think arthritis is coming. There is the occasional morning when he gets up a little slower than usual.

Eye drops – Dry eyes are a common condition in bulldogs and pugs. The lack of tears can cause uncomfortable infections. EY Eas helps keep the eyes disinfected.

Keep in mind the rules and regulations if you are visiting a state park or campsite. Get them comfortable with being on a leash, listening to commands, and don’t forget one of the less glamorous parts of pet ownership- scoop the poop! No one wants to smell or step in poop, and animal waste can contain harmful parasites and bacteria- not only for humans but the environment too.
A comfy nap spot for your pup- complete with bedding and a blankie. Especially as bulldogs have a notorious reputation for their love to kick back, relax, and hit the snooze button.
